Closure of Synergy Wound Care Specialist
This letter serves as formal notification that Synergy Wound Care Specialist has permanently closed its operations effective 09/05/2025.
The decision to close was made after careful review of our operations and referral patterns. Unfortunately, due to insufficient patient referrals and the upcoming federal changes in wound care reimbursement policies, it became unsustainable to continue providing specialized wound care services.
Important Information for Stakeholders
Patients: All wound care services at Synergy Wound Care Specialist are discontinued. We encourage patients to follow up with their primary care provider or an alternative wound care facility. Patients may contact their health insurance company for assistance in locating in-network providers. Requests for medical records should be directed to our office at the contact information below.
Health Insurance Companies: No additional claims will be submitted under Synergy Wound Care Specialist after the official closure date. Outstanding claims for services rendered prior to that date should be processed per standard procedures.
Billing Companies: Please discontinue all future billing activity related to Synergy Wound Care Specialist. Any pending claims should be finalized promptly.
Electronic Medical Records Vendor: Please suspend all access associated with Synergy Wound Care Specialist effective 09/05/2025. We will coordinate separately for secure retention and transfer of patient medical records as required by law.
Vendors, Laboratories, and Imaging Services: All contracts related to wound care supplies, skin graft products, laboratory services, and imaging providers must be discontinued effective 09/05/2025. Please ensure any outstanding invoices are submitted for review and resolution prior to that date.
